من أهم المظاهر الايجابية لإقامة المشاريع الحرجية هو وقف انجراف الطبقة السطحية من التربة حيث أن انشاء هذه المشاريع أدى الى تكوين غطاء خضري على وجه الأرض مما ساعد على تثبيت التربة نتيجة لامتداد جذور تلك النباتات الامر الذي حال دون انجراف التربة بفعل الرياح
