最佳实践的简短描述
On the background of current climate change for mitigation and adaptation to the mentioned process, one of the real active measures is to move to manageable water consumption for the purposes of rational use of water resources. From the management point of view water resources of Kakheti region are the important and interesting to proceed to the controlled use of water and to estimate water deficit or excess according to its requirements.
For this purpose created geographical information system (GIS) of Kakheti water resources; Inventoried al kind of water objects (springs, rivers, lakes, reservoirs, irrigation schemes); Collected data on water use; Collected of data on land use, etc. GIS of Kakheti will be used in future as a basis for introduction of contemporary water resources management technique.
The project giving possibility to receive the real picture of quantitative characteristics of water resources available in Kakheti; to create GIS data bases and thematic maps of water resources that will make it possible to control and plan regional economy. |
